Helped someone close to me call the IRS number to schedule an appointment for help with corporate taxes. The number just says “we are overwhelmed with calls” and the hangs up. Call the local office? It just loops through a message saying to check the web.

I like a lot about different programming languages. Ruby can execute actual poetry. JS is incredibly powerful, Java has some damned cool features. But at the end of the day, most of them do not have the level of quality tooling that I think developers need. .NET tooling is second to none.

I’ve been jumping through hoops today to get something working, and I think I finally got it. Integration tests with #DotNet #Aspire that run locally and in Jenkins (docker in docker). Had to work out why dcp said “file not found” in an Alpine image, and run my app via the Dockerfile.
