In January 1992, the Coca-Cola plant in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador closed its doors. The residents of the province never forgot this. They boycotted Coke and supported a local plant that produced Pepsi. This is how Newfoundland became "Pepsi Country". 🧵1/8
The photo shows a pin shaped like the outline of Labrador, Canada, with a metallic finish. The text on the pin reads "THE CHOICE OF PEPSI COUNTRY LABRADOR" in a stylized font, and there's a small Pepsi logo in the center. The background is yellow.
