A sure way to kill the NDP is to abandon the party if your preferred leadership candidate doesn’t win. I believe that we need a multi-party system in Canada and the NDP is best positioned to continue to deliver that.

Despite the vitriol from the pro-Avi and anti-Avi camps I think all of the potential leaders have a path to winning more seats in the next parliament. I do not think it is the end of the world for the NDP if Avi does or does not become leader.
