We've also gone from agencies like UKMTO sending out incident coordinates with an attack to just vague bodies of water. So we either get late information or a report that something happened in the Strait of Hormuz. It's unlikely to inspire confidence in crews and vessel Masters.

These attacks have taken place in the last 24 hours. Iran claimed a large number of strikes since Friday but ship owners and CSOs are not reporting them in a timely manner. The problem is that analysts cannot make informed decisions on maritime safety as a result. It's insane.

One of the mule deer triplets taking a break in amongst my flowers and plants this afternoon. I went out to refill the birdbath and there s/he was lying down, just watching me. I had the phone in my pocket so I spoke quietly to her as I took a few photos then left her alone. #mammals

A mule deer fawn from this year, no more spots but still smaller than mama. She, or he, is lying down on the dirt/leaf litter and bark in amongst some plants and flowers. She/he has huge ears somewhat like a mule and that's why they're called mule deer. I just looked out the window and she/he is still there.
