I stayed up past midnight hate watching the unlikable Aces get beat in 3 by the real deal Valkyries 💜. I thought I was done with the WNBA for the season. It now looks like I will hate watch the Finals pulling for the Valks to beat the Dream. Please don’t interview DeQuiter Bonner or I may not watch.

Funny, I notice the same about Caitlin Clark haters. In order to see the 60 to 70 WNBA games I watch each season I spend about $1000: 4 months of cable, Peacock, Paramount, Prime/ League Pass. I think I earn the right to my opinions. The WNBA is the pro sport I watch now.

Retired now. In 40+ years, I only worked for two good CEOs (6 yrs total). So saying this, the Indiana Fever are gaslighting Caitlin Clark. They are using her. I’m not MAGA, not KKK, just someone who appreciates real greatness. I remember my early 20s, I made many mistakes, I hope Clark has support.

Happy Father’s Day. I never spoke to my Father again after a falling out at 19. Without going into details, he was a gifted Doctor but a poor Father. On the other hand, my Grandfather, was a poor man but a very good father. I have a portrait photo of my GF on the wall. I think of him daily.

CNBC’s Joe Kernan is insufferable on his best days and unwatchable on his worst. I have never heard him say one honest thing about Trump or MAGA. Brian Sullivan would be a much better third host. I don’t know Brian’s politics but he comes across as respectful and honest.

I was raised in Arkansas but born in Mississippi. For years I claimed to be an Arkansan because Mississippi was just so much worse in most ways. got a phone call last week from an insurance company wanting to sign me up for a Medicare Advantage plan. I’m almost certain it was an AI. We had a pleasant conversation, and was very polite when I said “not interested”. When I hung up, I was sure it was an AI. Anyone else experience this?

Today marks the completion of my 72nd trip around the Sun. Most everything seems like it happened recently, but also a long time ago if that makes sense. No matter how I think about it 7 decades is a lot of life. My hope is I live long enough now that Trump/MAGA is a much less painful memory.
