The fact that so much outside money is flooding into this local race is all the more galling when you consider that Hanif's opponent, worked at the Brennan Center for Justice on "money in politics."
Maya Kornberg is a senior research fellow and manager in the Brennan Center’s Elections and Government Program, where she leads work related to information and disinformation in politics, Congress, and money in politics.
