Although case series are only ever hypothesis generating, these pains had failed to respond to multiple previous analgesics. And both rotation and combined use were well tolerated Thus we believe both SCB rotation and possible SCB synergy warrant further investigation.

We also note their actions might be complimentary: we report situations where pain refractory to either SCB alone then subsided when lacosamide was combined with either lidocaine or oxcarbazepine. Similar combined use is reported in refractory epilepsy doi:10.1016/j.yebeh.2025.110718

For 2024, a green bar runs up to 4000, with a dark green running to about 5000. The text "40% lower" is on the lighter green bar. Text at the top of the graphic reads "Estimated air pollution deaths are down by around 40%. New analysis estimates deaths associated with air pollution in London reduced substantially between 2019 and 2024." Text at the bottom of the graphic reads "Note: darker shading shows estimated ranges. Decision made to grant US tech firm ‘unlimited access’ to data in project to build integrated platform, according to reports * UK politics live – latest updates MPs have warned that an NHS decision to grant Palantir access to identifiable patient information in its plan to use AI to improve the health service is “dangerous” and will fuel public fears that data privacy is not being prioritised. NHS England has allowed staff from the US tech firm and other contractors access to patient data before it has been pseudonymised, despite internal fears of a “risk of loss of public confidence”, the Financial Times reported. Equally important, I can see who I shouldn't be prescribing for because they want hospital admission. It really has transformed our ability to respond. But I'm worried about 1. Palantir damaging confidence 2. Commissioners seeing e-notes purely as data capture, not a clinical tool (they're both)

There's a strong positive case to make for good data sharing. E.g. by using shared records with GPs and DNs, I can now prescribe urgent complex pain relief out of hours for people I've never met before because I can instantly see their allergies, other meds and diagnoses etc, f/u next day etc.
