The most interesting thing about this new poll is that it confirms research undertaken by @bestforbritain.org which finds that the "bolder" policy of rejoining the EU generates the most enthusiasm. Voters want ambition, not vagueness or half measures, and will vote accordingly. (1/2)

As a recent former member, accession for the UK may be quicker than for other membership candidates, but it will still take several years. This proposal offers an opportunity to get the benefits of Single Market membership during the accession process. But the UK must first commit to rejoin.

Diesel production in Russia is almost entirely for domestic use, so its loss has no impact on US diesel prices. Oil prices sent skyrocketing by Trump's illegal war on Iran certainly do affect US diesel prices. Trump is trying to scapegoat Ukraine for his own failure. Trump can go to hell!

This stopped me in my tracks. An independent study by @qmul.bsky.social has found that after ULEZ was introduced, children’s lungs grew faster in Central London and have now caught up with children outside of the capital. Incredible.
