A worthy cause from my sister's job. If you're able to donate, you'll be helping to give a Merry Christmas to a child who might not otherwise be waking up to anything under the tree.

A solicitation for contributions to a fund to provide holiday gifts to the children of HOPE (Health, Outreach, Prevention, and Education) clients at St. Luke's Hospital in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. The solicitation explains that HOPE provides comprehensive care to people living with HIV, especially those who are uninsured or underinsured; it has locations in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and Stroudsburg.

A QR code is provided for those wishing to donate. Interested people can also donate directly to the organizer via Venmo @Jen-Moll or call 908-319-6021.

Guy on @bloomberg.com just said young people trying to buy their 1st home are shocked to hear a 7% rate and mention it to their parents who in turn scoff that rates were 17% when they bought their 1st home. Really? A lot of "young" people's parents were buying their first homes in the early '80s?
