Another thing that we might need to consider - much of the cog science thinking that has made its way into education comes from a particular perspective. And it seems to be quite simplistic. There are other ways of thinking about cognition (e.g. embodiment) that have not made the jump. #edchatie

In terms of classroom practice, I'm with all the big writers in this area in thinking that cognitive load theory is particularly important for teachers to understand. It's a simple idea but one that we cannot ignore. #edchatie
