What does it mean to be SEND trained? I'm asking to try to understand the commonly understood parts, and the levels of variation. If we are all to have SEND training, let's make sure that it is clearly defined first. With a definition based in clearly agreed upon evidence.

I liked the idea to change it to a pajama day - because who doesnt love reading in their pajamas? Kids still get the heady excitement of a non-uniform day, but no costumes needed and the focus remains on the actual reading

It’s heartbreaking when students revise hard & it doesn’t pay off. A lot of study strategies feel productive: rereading, highlighting & copying. But familiarity is not evidence of learning. Responsive Revision: Retrieve → Diagnose → Act → Repeat. Close gaps through targeted retrieval practice.
