Sometimes I get frustrated and say things like, "I wish I was so privileged and ignorant that I could ignore the horrors of the world to obsess over sports and pretend that Trump is the source of all evil" but I don't actually wish that. It's good to be aware of reality and honest with yourself.

one common thread (among the horrifying many) between the numerous ICE shootings/murders is that no first aid was administered to the victim. armed combatants of the government shot to kill, and if they didn’t kill right away, they gave time for it to happen anyway. it is absolutely grotesque.
