New potential is definitely there. On the other hand there's a multitude of reasons gamers and creators hate AI today: some argue AI is basically built on theft. It also devalues those who spent decades refining their craft. Will this all matter in 10, 20 years? I have my suspicions.

The primary reason this worked out so well is that operators support standalone- and editor-aware runtime modes. Operators can then implement gizmo interfaces that are handled by the editor's render view. Next up: gizmos in 3D!

Die Einführung hatte diese seltsame Qualität, dass man eine ganze Gruppe von Leuten ohne TV zwangsverpflichtete und ihnen dann auch noch Alternativlosigkeit vorspielte. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das ein Net-Win für die Demokratie war, während sich am ORF selbst nichts geändert hat.

Are you using any kind of hot reloading while working with Dear ImGui? If not, I can very much recommend it. Hot reloading makes the live app a fluid replacement for any retained mode designer. Better turnaround times, only one state.

Isn't this all still possible? Imho the danger lies in how the tech is actually used. Devs tempted to go too fast without validating their results, general deskilling and org pressure. But these orgs will pay a price. As per @doctorow.pluralistic.net: code is a liability, not an asset.
