You know I never actually have had to learn how to entirely remove edits someone made to a page before. Usually we're still in draft form, go "oops" and change whatever mistake we've made before publishing. But she couldn't figure out how to put it back how it was... So I learned something :D

...oh man. So I granted one of our Marketing folks access to a certain tool after asking my boss permission, and he's like "Don't see why not, other than the damage she can do." And I assured him the damage is minimal because of version control, so if she erases everything, I can just "unpublish".

So thanks to giving in and getting out the drill, and having finished some detailing last night (note: even during rush jobs, I will ALWAYS take the extra time to "weather" fake metal), belt may be ready to wear tonight! Just the ornamentation at the non-buckle end left after I glue these on.

Honestly a minor relief to have that explained. Every now and then I'd be driving and "what's that smell? Did one of the buns manage to spray out of the carrier during a vet trip?" but then it wouldn't be there the next time I got in the car... then I'd be driving along and there it was again. XD

Well that was unexpected. Slight extra expense because apparently a mouse got into my cabin air filter... which explains why my car would smell fine when i got in but then after driving a bit there would be a vague smell that reminded me of bunny pee. -_- Getting replaced and disinfected.

Man, I have come to love Tuesday mornings because NEW ELITE HUNT BILLS. :D And usually I've taken care of urgent work stuff from the weekend by then, so I can just keep an eye on the ticketing system/email and go beat stuff up for useful currency.

Looking up actual leatherworking info because the belt buckle came today and "hey how many canon DoH jobs are going into this cosplay?" So far not as many as Haurchefant. I observed towards the end stages that if I made hot cocoa, that would be CUL and I'd have hit all 8.

Note: it is VERY HARD to find a knowledgeable rabbit vet. I have seen a couple others at the clinic once or twice and they did okay, but after seeing my buns once they deferred back to this vet because she knows how important my buns are to me and makes suggestions accordingly. :/

the sandals are slouching but fortunately I had anticipated that and already prepared a plan for that - and as it turns out, putting all of this on proves that I measured exactly perfectly for that contingency plan, just need to do a bit more sewing. :D It's wearable, dangit.

Forgot to wrap the belt around myself but it wouldn't have stayed very well anyway without a buckle (and yes the mirror should be cleaned)... but other than that, what I've got so far! Not pictured since the goggles are tinted dark red and the shots I got that included the bottom half are blurry -

...Yeah, despite the "need fresh air" feeling, fresh air did not actually help at all. I kind of have felt like I've been living with a RPG "poison" status effect for the last couple days, I just feel "off" and my energy is being drained no matter what I do (or if I don't do anything :P).

(Apparently today the only thing my stomach finds agreeable is the darkest of coffee. Unfortunately consuming nothing BUT the darkest of coffee means that the large amount of caffeine has begun to undo what the coffee was helping with. -_-)

Yeah, Vagrant Story is a standalone late-PS1 game by the same core team as FF Tactics and FF12. Yoshida is reportedly a huge fan of the director, Matsuno, which is one reason I decided to dare try to play an MMO - because I too am very inspired by Matsuno's work! (25 years of fanfic now XD)

To be more specific, VS's magic system is Plot-Relevant but very vaguely explained, so while writing fanfic I developed TONS of headcanon, then when I first started playing FF14 I was like "oh hey this lines up with what I came up with for VS" and then got to ShB and looked up the release date vs.

I mean I think everything else that's left at this point beyond the goggles is stuff that isn't so blatantly obvious that anyone would notice it missing unless they have also either made the costume or drawn it a whole lot. XD But I do like making things as accurate as possible.

As long as I can assemble the goggles (last clearcoat drying now on the frames), add the buckle to the belt (please hurry USPS), and finish detailing the straps on the aether thingy (not important, but half-finished), I could wear the costume as-is and be content. Still working at it anyway.

Wowwww. Cactpot was nice to me tonight. Of my 12 characters, 5 won 4th prize, 1 won 2nd prize. :D (Naturally the character who is least likely to ever want fun Gold Saucer stuff... it was the Hardin alt. XD) Lots of costume stuff accomplished too - sandals are wearable after I sew one last thing!

Okay. Made it to craft store to pick up order. Barely. But since craft store is right next to World Market, made myself stop there too, they've been hyping their holiday arrivals. Extra energy I didn't have, but I now can reward myself for the BS with peppermint or gingerbread syrup in my coffee.
