Today is the 8 month “anniversary” of my second friend being murdered in Gaza. His family was exterminated. Jamaal was an aid worker in Gaza. All he ever wanted to do was help Palestinians eat. He had the strongest will and his version of justice taught me so much. So today is not easy for me.

Compare Twitter to Bluesky. No gore on bsky, while I have to race past it on Twitter. It is challenging mentally to see, but the impact is much more direct and clear. I don’t watch contra, but she has a huge audience. Someone trying to get her to highlight the situation shouldn’t get lambasted.

I didn’t understand the concern that people would “be radicalized”, which I saw in one of her tweets. People should get radicalized imo. Admittedly it’s very hard to watch. But it reminds me how awful Israel is and why they have to be stopped and their “right to exist” challenged.
