Pili @paljus.me · 05/10/2026Last night this guy, this fuckin' guy, this Nick Lutsko, had the whole crowd chanting "Piss! Piss! Piss!" and sung some stuff about Alex Jones (the one who popped like a balloon, not the jolly Welsh one) and it was excellent. I have a lot to learn about Dan Bongino and Spirit Halloween, it seems. 011
Pili @paljus.me · 03/10/2026Tonight we are proudly this kind of nerd 👍🏽 Friendly cinema full of Jet Lag fans, all here to see if Tom Scott's infrastructure knowledge can help him and Adam get to Hokkaido before Team Alpha Force™️ Feature length shenanigans! 181
Pili @paljus.me · 29/09/2026Vote JLR, a podcast host for Europe! It's like eurovision, only less problematic, and the costumes are...actually on par to be honest! 041
Reposted by PiliJohn-Luke Roberts @jlukeroberts.bsky.social · 29/09/2026This is hilarious. I am one of two people nominated for best host, and the other person is Louis Theroux. It's done by public vote. Vote for me! We can do this! 65626
Pili @paljus.me · 28/09/2026"Vietnamese Degraded Fat Boy Cook-off" seemed like it would be misleadingly concise in my safety engineering notes, but search engines successfully pointed me to the 1967 USS Forrestal Fire. 000
Pili @paljus.me · 25/09/2026To be specific, Yxeni by L4MPLIGHT into Sun In An Empty Room by The Weakerthans. If I were a DJ I'd take a change that dramatic as a personal challenge. 000
Pili @paljus.me · 25/09/2026This auto DJ function just tried to crossfade from microtonal hyperpop into slow indie rock and...well, I appreciate the effort 😅 110
Pili @paljus.me · 22/09/2026The latest batch of AI generated bluesky accounts, that I block as soon as they follow me, appear to be very similar blends of - vaguely meditative/zen stuff - woah nature is pretty - deep dives into economic and political policy at the drop of a hat Who are they imitating?? 001
Pili @paljus.me · 18/09/2026Oh you've made him so beautifully jolly and tactile, this piece is glorious 🩵 010
Pili @paljus.me · 07/09/2026Oh, yeah, I can't imagine it working for sushi at all unless they've added starch glue to the mirin or something mad 😅 010
Pili @paljus.me · 07/09/2026I had a bad dream last night that I ended up with a daily telegraph subscription, and didn't know how to responsibly dispose of it without anyone knowing. We do produce some real mercenary shitbags of journalists in the UK. 021
Pili @paljus.me · 07/09/2026Didn't realise brown rice was controversial! It's just a wholegrain rice, if you cook it slowly it ends up tender and sweet/nutty, though a bit chewier than white rice. We also have purple and black rice, which I love. They're high in fibre and better if you're diabetic or similar too. 110
Pili @paljus.me · 29/08/2026I apologise for my alt text error, those stripes are of course the Aladdin Sane design, not the Ziggy Stardust design 🙇 010
Pili @paljus.me · 29/08/2026We helped a friend run some cultural workshops at the Hyper Japan festival a while back, but couldn't participate while helping, so today we got to paint our own festival masks as thanks 😊 I may have ended up a bit luchador. Not complaining 😛 151
Pili @paljus.me · 29/08/2026Times like these I have to ask myself if I want the guy or if I want to be the guy 👍🏽 010
Pili @paljus.me · 29/08/2026Posting our low moments makes the Internet more realistic for everybody, if you only ever see people's bests then you get a really skewed view of the world! 020
Pili @paljus.me · 25/08/2026I love Big Walk, I really really do, I just can't play it for long in one sitting because I get so physically anxious with flashbacks to trying to keep track of cub scouts or summer camp kids when I was younger 🥲 Here's hoping I can overcome that a little as we play it more! 020
Pili @paljus.me · 22/08/2026I think love happens, particularly for demi spectrum folks, as a side effect of common interests and hobbies. I stopped actively looking for love but I didn't stop "keeping an eye out" for it...a dozen like-minded people later, I have a few I genuinely think I love (and some solid friends too). 010
Pili @paljus.me · 21/08/2026Our wonderful dog continues to be *far worse* than random chance when playing "guess which hand the cocktail sausage is in". We're not sure what signals she's picking up from us but it took her more than a dozen guesses to get two sausages. (out of two hands in total, to be clear) 020
Pili @paljus.me · 19/08/2026I would jump on this if I used an iPhone, I feel like the primary benefit would be setting realistic expectations for how much I could get done in a day 🌱 020
Pili @paljus.me · 16/08/2026Super proud today, I finally managed to not totally screw @drkuro.bsky.social over when paired with him on the evil team in a social deduction game 😁 I have ruined *so many* games for him in the past (and indeed any other evil compatriots) 021

Pili @paljus.me · 27/07/2026I'm so sorry, it made sense when the shark person amiibo summoned fish, it didn't when regular link did it 🥲 020
Pili @paljus.me · 26/07/2026If you want a really weird time, Phoenix Wright is actually localised really well to preserve the puzzles in the testimonies, and it kinda works as a new game plus, because the things you need to object to can be in a different place or order than you remember in your original language 😅 210
Pili @paljus.me · 26/07/2026I went to a "language college" as a teen and lucked out from all the PS2 games being fully voice acted in French, Italian, German, and Spanish. The French for Ratchet and Clank saying "every day a new adventure!" turned out to be roughly "Every day another way to die." Fun! 110
Pili @paljus.me · 24/07/2026I started replaying Yoku's Island Express yesterday, so I can only say that this delivery person needs pinball physics and a charming soundtrack 👍🏽 020
Pili @paljus.me · 20/07/2026weirdly tempted to get the new Rhythm Paradise for Windows 98 Thanks Amazon? 😅 Rhythm Heaven has some throwback vibes but it doesn't go that far! 000

Pili @paljus.me · 17/07/2026I'm impressed I guessed this from the notification 😛 Is this the one you got us to watch here, with the chosen one festival, the dubious boating, and the legendary birds? 121
Pili @paljus.me · 16/07/2026A larp designer once told me their trick to confidence was to "move through the world as if you've been given a grant by the Arts Council to move through the world" It's also a lot of fun! 010
Pili @paljus.me · 10/07/2026We tried watching Godspell and oh gods my days running a gospel choir are haunting me Jesus has massive Jacob Collier energy and it is confusing. 020
Pili @paljus.me · 04/07/2026Been playing more rhythm doctor I love a game that's unafraid to make me cry too much to see the screen properly 'cause I should be able to play off of pure audio cues damnit 😅 120
Pili @paljus.me · 29/06/2026In the recent People Make Games video about Jerry Gretzinger, @itsquinns.bsky.social described Jerry's densely annotated rulebook as carrying intense arcane weight. @annasmithspark.bsky.social's care and effort here give me a similar vibe and I can't wait to borrow it for a deep swim in the lore 😊 021

Pili @paljus.me · 20/06/2026this is elf libel, it's merely that all elves are descended from Hugo Weaving and are thus imperfect reflections of him, much like how we all maybe have some charlemagne in us 000
