Grossly disproportionate responses to the DV situation as a whole. WHY must it take someone high profile being charged for DV - & the charges for which associated businesses being financially affected by - for them to speak out & distance themselves from the behaviour? Hitherto, we'd heard zip.

Bit worrying that a state premier does not understand how income tax works.
Mr Minns said the current top marginal tax rate of 47 per cent – including the two per cent Medicare Levy – meant Australians were working half the week for the government.

“You’re working Monday, Tuesday and half of Wednesday for yourself, then Wednesday Thursday and Friday for the government,” Mr Minns said.

The top marginal tax rate applies to those earning incomes over $190,001 across Australia’s states and territories.

Rapists NEVER admit they did it. Ever. That doesn’t prove anyone’s guilt; it just means denials are of zero evidentiary value. Think about it in probability terms: 95+% of rape complainants are telling the truth, but 100% of accused rapists deny it. Statistically, almost all of them must be lying.
