iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Me too. I needed a win 🥲

010

Agreed. A few jump scares but I’ll call it a 6 or 7 /10

010

Especially considering I need money to replace the other stolen things, and they stole the things I use to make money. Oh, the irony. All that being said: if you need an actor to voice something for it, I’ve now replaced everything and am available once again for work!

110

For an actor like me, I need good quality mics for… well, work and auditions. And to play DnD with my friends. I really am overwhelmed.

Last month my grandfather died, and two days later thieves broke into my car. They stole a lot, including my microphones and headphones. I tried reaching out to the companies explaining what had happened, and I am overwhelmingly grateful that @elgato.com replaced my Wave for me. Thank you so much.

150

Gutted that I did not load my b+w roll of film correctly and spent two months - and thirty six clicks of a shutter - discovering I wasted it.

000

I won’t lie, having just re read that after a long time away, that made me laugh again

100

I think about this sort of thing way too often. Here’s a Muppet Hamlet I came up with… seven years ago.

100

Also: if any more friends want to give it a read, please let me know.

Having friends read it now, and it’s terrifying. But also: I’m proud of it!! It’s flawed and I don’t yet know how to tighten it - hopefully I will after the feedback starts coming through - but there’s some stuff in there that *I think* really works. It makes me laugh and cry, and I’m proud.

But also like… why? Why do you have to be good? Why can’t you enjoy the act of creation? Why can’t you be bad and learn through doing?

There are many reasons I love @blankcheck.bsky.social, but today’s is the reminder of how fantastic The Weight by The Band is (courtesy of Scorsese’s The Last Waltz): youtu.be/Z2eTW8qZBtk?...

So this day has been a roller coaster and a half. Thank you all for the amazing support. The issue isn’t solved yet, but we’re hopeful. In the meantime, please wishlist the game. We need all the extra help we can get now: store.steampowered.com/app/1221950/...

We are aware that Steam has classified Nighthawks as an adult game and has excluded it from searches (and delisted it entirely in certain countries). We are working on it. Valve is under the impression that this game is way sexier than it actually is.

If anyone has contacts at Valve who can help expedite this, we certainly wouldn't say no to the help. In the meantime, I'll be here swimming in cortisol.

ITA is one of the best gaming podcasts out there, and their console retrospectives are never anything less than an utter delight. Can’t wait.

Thank you you’re very kind :)
