I think they take away your bird photography license if you find a robin with a big worm and don't snap a photo.

Here is a fabulous planthopper from the Amazon rainforest. It has waxy white fronds at the end of the abdomen and there are differing opinions on their function. Do they make the insect distasteful to predators or do they help transfer waste away? (Lystra pulverulenta) Cuyabeno Reserve, Ecuador
