In Kent, in England, there’s a town called Sandwich. Nearby is a village called Ham. Which means that you get this street sign calling out “Ham Sandwich”. There’s also a bus that starts at Samdwich, goes through Ham, before finishing at the coastal town of Deal. English, eh?

@juliette in Aalborg 🇩🇰 we have seven bakeries within 500m radius and most of them I would easily send my kid to. Your one km is a bit over the top for dense cities. I would say that 1 km walk to a bakery means you are living in suburbs.

@dcz when I was young I used receivers with 36kHz demodulators. They are not that sensitive to noise. Then you just need to AND your send data with 36kHz squarewave.
