Texte de conclusion sur ce qui se passe sur Internet et sur les pratiques de certain·es influenceur·euses.

Je me demande ce que penserait la DGCCRF de certaines de ces connexions. Anyme, Nico, Byilhan, Flamby et d’autres dont j’oublie les noms : à force d’apparaître, même indirectement, dans le même écosystème que Julien Tanti, mais aussi d’autres personnes que lui, vous participez aussi à légitimer leur image auprès de votre public.

Le problème d’une affiliation indirecte, ce n’est pas seulement "être pote avec quelqu’un·e".

Sur Internet, la visibilité est une monnaie, c’est un fait. Une apparition, une collaboration ou une mise en avant transfère une partie de votre crédibilité et de la confiance de votre communauté vers cette personne.

Et quand cette personne est associée à des polémiques commerciales, à des pratiques ayant fait l’objet de critiques ou de sanctions, ou encore à des comportements assez problématiques, ce transfert de confiance devient malsain. Votre public ne fait pas forcément la différence entre proximité personnelle, collaboration, publicité et caution morale, notamment à cause de l’effet de halo que vous contribuez à entretenir.

C’est précisément là que ça devient dangereux : quelqu’un·e peut se dire "s’iels traînent avec cette personne, c’est qu’elle est fiable". Vous devenez alors, volontairement ou non, des intermédiaires de confiance. Et cette confiance peut ensuite forcément être utilisée pour vendre, promouvoir ou redorer une réputation.

Vous avez peut-être gagné quelques clips, quelques vues et un peu de sympathie à court terme. Mais à force de courir après la fame, vous donnez surtout que la visibilité passe avant la prudence et avant la responsabilité que vous avez envers les personnes qui vous regardent.
