Is Zionism’s Moral Crisis About Roads Not Taken—or Original Sin?
Where Benjamin Moser replaces one story of Jewish exceptionalism with another, Omer Bartov shows what’s lost when polemic takes the place of history.

In the 25 years since 9/11, the United States has spent $8 trillion+ on wars that have taken millions of lives in the name of fighting "terror." Can you imagine if we had instead invested those funds here on climate, health care, housing, and education?

North Carolina Republican-dominated Board of Elections shut down Sunday voting in a number of counties, especially in Black areas, where “Souls to the Polls” is a popular ritual. They also removed polling places from HBCU campuses. It is racism disguised as partisanship. www.wunc.org/politics/202...

and what we need is a sort of total moral reckoning with all the deep profound evils of the United States. Like those are different messages. And I think the left kind of ran with the second message for a while. And again, I think ended up in some cul-de-sacs and dark places. 3/n

What can we do — 📌 Show up to city council, planning, and zoning meetings. 📌 Read meeting agendas before the vote, not after. 📌 File public records requests if something about a “routine” item feels off. 📌 Ask questions about water use, noise limits, and who pays if utility costs rise.
