Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Hey, here's a crazy idea. Don't trip or high stick other players and you won't get penalties. That seems a bit worse than the victim of such crimes falling down, but Austin Matthews or whatever... 120
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 06/10/2026So he gets slew footed and high sticked and goes down. Please TSN tell me more about how this is a dive. Break it down for us. Explain what a dive is and tell us how the league could identify a dive here and what the punishment should be. Great bit of sports journalism there whoever that guy is! 130

Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 04/10/2026The obsession with "big bodies" and "lengthy" defensemen is truly head scratching at times. How bout are they good at playing hockey? 000
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Could anyone write a piece of satirical fiction that was this absurd? Like what is actually happening, and can we just call BS already? 110
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Seems like the trend here may be more the drop in free online learning content, which is feeding the LLMs. Could this lead to the starving of LLMs and a resurgence in in-person and/or pay walled learning? 011

Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Would love to be able to take a train to Edmonton from TBay too. I really can't tell what you seem to be arguing about. I'm advocating for more mass transit options for people in TBay and NW ON, in particularly rail. 000
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I would 100% take a train to Winn. or Subury from TBay instead of flying, especially with the current state of air travel. I once took VIA from Winn. to Van & it was spectacular. Of course the NW ON region could also be served by this. If VIA comes back to TBay, why not stop in Dryden, Kenora etc.? 200
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026But it you want to fly to say Edmonton from TBay, you have to go to Toronto or Vancouver first, or both. If you want to fly to Sudbury, with check ins, stops/lay overs and inevitable delays, you might just want to drive... 100
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Air isn't bad if you're coming from a hub like Toronto. Many direct flights to other cities have been cut. The connection to the region is very bad though I agree. You are basically forced to rent a car if you are able. 110
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Yup. Greyhound is long gone too. And with the state of air travel, there's a major public transportation void to be filled here. This is a national transportation need and likely requires federal support. 110
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026They need to run passenger rail through Thunder Bay again and sharing with CN is complicated. A dedicated passenger line is an interesting idea. 110
Orion @orion5a.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Yup. It was a Bombardier plant. They were in serious financial trouble and sold off their train production. Sad that it is foreign owned now, but Alstom employs thousands of people across Canada. Could have been much worse. 020
