My impulse buys are things like golden kiwis. My grocery store never has them and I saw them today. I spent the extra $3 because I needed to see if the hype was real and I have to so they're pretty good. But I like regular kiwis already so golden kiwis are a little overhyped.

I don't often commend republicans, but Michael Crider worked hard to push for a needle exchange program, prove that it works & when it came time for renewal, Mike Braun tried to stop it. Still, it got pushed through because it's not a partisan thing. It just makes sense.

My therapist quoted Kevin Abstract at me today. We were discussing how I mask myself so nobody ever has a full understanding of who I am. Friends, family, & coworkers all get a different version of me. He goes, "why don't you take that mask off, that's a thought."

Almost 10 years after his passing, the two of them continue to check in on me at least monthly. I haven't seen the guy I thought was his best friend since the funeral. But I always feel really good when I get to speak with them or see them.

My dad had a lot of friends. I watched him suffer to help them. Most skipped his funeral. There were two guys I never recall meeting before. One went to school with him, one was in the marines with him. They knew so much about me, had pictures of my sister & I. It was jarring.
