We're having too much of a vibe designer influx lately that it's kind of doing the opposite of what we want. Unfortunately it's veering back into the 90's school of "bad ÜBER COOL GRITTY AND GRIM, AWESOME DIECROLEZ" type of stuff. This comes from the fact that we as a whole genre are not centralised

The vast majority of tabletop games are Fine, Honestly. Yes, even the ones I slander! It takes A LOT to be "bad enough" for me to recommend actively avoiding a game for the game-part specifically (platforming is a different conversation). This means different things in different contexts.
