Star Trek Holoween ll is out TODAY!! Here are my inks for the cover of #1! #art 🌹✨

Photo of inked lineart for the cover of issue #1 of Star Trek HoloWeen ll. It depicts an arrangement of the main cast of deep space 9 encased in the circle of a starlet ship—mimicking a magnifying glass. Behind them is some sort of comic looking entity . Surrounding the image are art deco like design elements

They are not friends yet, but it's a start. Before this, the XO thought that the CE is an ill-tempered hot headed brute who can't be reasoned with, and the CE thought that the XO is a shallow selfish snob who doesn't care about anybody. After this, they are both proven wrong, and find mutual respect

Egon and Ires both go on this mission with some hostility and distrust towards each other. But after I crash their shuttle on a Alien spider infested moon, throw them in the blender with a harsh environment, hostile carnivores, and a cult, they have no choice but to slip into each others shoes 😌

I live! And so do they. And now you have got to deal with both, sorry 😈 #StarTrek #OriginalArt #OriginalCharacter #Celeste This concludes the spider-moon story for now. I kinda wanna make a comic out of it someday, so I was trying out some scenes. Thanks for tagging along!🫰

Sketches of artist's original Star Trek project, featuring the Klingon Chief Engineer Lieutenant Commander Egon Himmet, and Betazoid First Officer Commander Ires Okai of USS Celeste.

Panel 1:
Egon and Ires are sitting in a shuttle, looking absolutely wrecked. This is after they get rescued from the Spider critter moon. Ires is sitting at the right of the picture, he has a shock blanket wrapped around him, a small bandaid on his nose, and holding an ice pack to his head. His uniform jacket is undone, and both the jacket and undershirt shows the tear from getting scratched by one of the critter on his side. his face is also littered with tiny scratches and grime and his hair is messy.
Egon is sitting beside him on the left. She looks equally grimy and wrecked and messed up. Her jacket is also undone, showing the undershirt. She is holding a mug with a hot beverage, and passing a similar mug to Ires, who holds out his hand to accept it. Both of the seem to have reached a mutual understanding.

Panel 2:
At the Engineering of Celeste, after the incident, Ires holds a PADD out to Egon, with a deadpan look on his face, saying "Lieutenant, your evaluation report."
Egon holds out her hand to receive it, looking equally deadpan. She teasingly replies "Walked all the way down here just for this? Why commander, you shouldn't have..."

The have a small audience of four lower deckers in the background- Maya, Simone, Kareq and Achille, peeping from behind the door like cartoon stacked up children as they pass a bucket of popcorn among themselves. It seems the dynamic has shifted, and the hostility between The First Officer and the chief engineer is merely performative now.
