One of my first shoegaze records, though shoegaze always felt like a bit of a misnomer in describing it compared to, say, Slowdive or Lush. Regardless, this is an absolutely killer album filled with riffs for days (e.g., “Son of Mustang Ford,” “Rave Down”).
