They act the same as domesticated chickens, even down to the angry noises a broody hen makes. This species was domesticated for thousands of years, yet the behavior remains largely the same.

I got to witness undomesticated chickens (red jungle fowl) at a bird sanctuary recently. #chickenposting

Undomesticated rooster. Looks identical to a normal rooster, with a bright red comb, golden orange feathers on its neck and back, and a long black tail feather.

The hen looks very different to the typical domesticated hens used in industry. She's very thin and resembles a game fowl in statue. Her feathers are brown and have lacy patterns to help her blend in. She still has a red comb, but the bottom part beneath her beak is greatly reduced unlike the rooster.

My neighbor told me coyotes keep eating his outdoor cats so I asked how many cats he has and he said he just goes to the shelter and gets anew cat afterwards so I said it sounds like he's just feeding shelter cats to coyotes and then his daughter started crying.
