Summer in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, etc is significantly hotter than our mild (temperature-wise) summers. Summer in Northern and Central Chile can be easily 10C hotter than in NZ and all of them get less sunburn than us.

I don't get it, because in average I think Northern hemisphere summers are hotter than southern hemisphere ones. And we get more sunburn in NZ than in much hotter places, so exposure to UV rays make more sense to me.

You may get false positives if people are working in an assignment using Rmarkdown/Quarto (not my case), as some people copy assignment descriptions and work from there, leaving the prompt(s) visible.

* Another very good student saw the list and freaked out because didn't write about the strange prompt, and wrote something pointless (without AI), because the prompt did not make any sense. In conclusion, AI can be contagious, even if you didn't use it. 🤯

Interesting case after interviewing students caught in the exercise: * A fairly good student used AI to generate a list of items she should remember to write about, but did not use AI to write the assignment. The list included one of the prompts embedded in the assignment. 🧵

A few weeks ago I inserted an AI prompt in one of my assignments to add a meaningless sentence in the report. Six out of thirty seven reports included the sentence, which sets the lower bound of AI use. There is no AI allowed In the course. 🧵
