Two markers are going up along Ohio’s Wyandot Removal Trail, marking a forced march of 600 tribal members from northern Ohio to an Ohio River steamship, on their way to Oklahoma. Markers note spectators lined the route and stole from the Wyandot as they walked. www.wvxu.org/local-news/2...

Wyandot Removal Trail markers unveiled in Lebanon, North Bend
The trail includes 13 markers from Upper Sandusky to Cincinnati, telling the story of the last tribe to be removed from Ohio. The two newest markers are in Lebanon and North Bend.
