A Black teenager was accused of stealing a backpack and ended up dying by suicide because he was kept in solitary confinement at Rikers for years. His name is Kalief Browder. He spent over 700 days in solitary confinement AWAITING TRIAL. I guess in racist America that’s worse than this.
