I like how ads in the present day are so uniform that the only way you can tell the project being advertised is what off topic brand they name drop like 15-20 seconds into the generic success story

been writing quite a bit of fiction for the narrative of a game I’m going to attempt making; maybe because the story is important to me, I feel a constant hesitancy to write over fear that I won’t put it down the way it’s supposed to be, that I’m going to tell my own story wrong

I like the fact that 'MicroSoft' is a very profoundly late-70s computing company name like NorthStar Computers and Kaypro Corporation but because it's been so ubiquitous for the past 50 years we don't really linguistically clock it as such

1211

hello @official.cptkrb.net · 21/05/2026

last time im gna bitch about job hunting i promise but i really love how we've arrived at the stage where you let the AI model decide how to apply for a job and the employer lets the AI model decide how to interpret the application

indeed job application suggestion to use an 'AI-tailored Indeed Resume' instead of my actual resume

[[ Darkness floods up from the empty space. ]] yet another Caves of Qud diorama for the same friend as last time <3

Diorama of a figure standing on a hillside looking down into a dark shaft in the earth.
The hillside is grassy, turning to sand as it rises, and the shaft, once neatly framed with lumber, has since sunk sickly into the soft earth. A conspicuous (and recently occupies) campsite perches on the edge of the pit, and a lone wanderer with a pair of mechanical wings and various combat equipment seems to weigh the prospect of descent.

Hypocrisy is the point of fascism and white supremacy, but do you know how wild it is seeing these people who wont let you get a surgery that was theorized in the 20s and damn near perfected in the 2010s, inflate their fucking balls and break their legs repeatedly and smack themselves with a hammer?
