I’ve had this really dorky gripe w fnaf merchandising since I was like 14 which is that ‘in-universe’ advertising and merch made to look like it’s from the pizzeria absolutely would not have the physical animatronics on it as they look in real life

last time im gna bitch about job hunting i promise but i really love how we've arrived at the stage where you let the AI model decide how to apply for a job and the employer lets the AI model decide how to interpret the application

indeed job application suggestion to use an 'AI-tailored Indeed Resume' instead of my actual resume

[[ Darkness floods up from the empty space. ]] yet another Caves of Qud diorama for the same friend as last time <3

Diorama of a figure standing on a hillside looking down into a dark shaft in the earth.
The hillside is grassy, turning to sand as it rises, and the shaft, once neatly framed with lumber, has since sunk sickly into the soft earth. A conspicuous (and recently occupies) campsite perches on the edge of the pit, and a lone wanderer with a pair of mechanical wings and various combat equipment seems to weigh the prospect of descent.

I like this very slightly passive aggressive excerpt from the wiki page for MAPI

wikipedia excerpt from the page for MAPI reading:

The full Extended MAPI interface is required for interfacing messaging-based services to client applications such as Outlook. For example, several non-Microsoft e-mail server product vendors created "MAPI service providers" to allow their products to be accessed via Outlook. Notable examples include Axigen Mail Server, Kerio Connect, Scalix, Zimbra, HP OpenMail, IBM Lotus Notes, Zarafa/Kopano, and Bynari.

MAPI also had a service provider interface of sorts. Microsoft used this to interface MS Mail to an email system based on Xenix, for internal use.

Extended MAPI is the main e-mail data access method used by Outlook, to interface to Microsoft Exchange, via MAPI service providers shipped with Outlook.
