Went to see Cregger’s Resident Evil and had a blast with it! I kept seeing the complaint that it’s not faithful enough to the games and I super disagree. Outside of some *very* minor liberties it slots in well as an Outbreak style survivor story and captures the feeling of RE more than I expected!

Being a Smallville fan in the early years was fun. Each episode would end with someone being like "I can't do it all. I'm not a WONDER woman" or "We all have a DARK SIDE, Lex." Then we'd see Clark being sad in his barn and boom, "Everything" by Lifehouse kicks in.

I'm glad BTAS understood that Joker is most fun when he's deeply petty. His best stories are rarely "tries to destroy Gotham" but rather "gets mad that someone cut him off in traffic" or "wants to copyright fish" or "bombed during stand-up" or "a casino stole his likeness."
