In the Swedish population register, there are two men with exactly the same name and age, who are proposed to be detained in Helsinki on suspicion of espionage.

According to Yle's investigation, the men were apprehended in Finnish Lapland a few days ago.

The police suspect that the crimes took place very recently, between 30 August and 12 September. At the weekend of 13–14 September, the European Arctic Summit hosted by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (National Coalition Party) was held in Rovaniemi, to which European heads of state were invited. Yle has no information on whether the suspicion of espionage is related to this.

The men, who were born in 1986 and 1988, are registered as having the same apartment in the small coastal town of Härnösand. Men have the same middle name and surname.
