You can really tell how few people are able to even contemplate building their own homes these days by how much #Granddesigns is scratching around for projects. It's a shame.

Can you imagine the derisory coverage and outright mockery if any other party with single-digit MPs decided to "declare a General Election" and go on a bus tour? Yet when this outlandish nonsense comes from Farage, it is treated as somehow brilliant. "Subscribe to continue..." No thanks. I'm good.

I'm no political expert, but this seems like such a juvenile bit of policy/comms. What were they hoping to achieve? They've had a good 18 months, but this strikes me, a Green-curious lefty, as a big backwards step. #greenparty

I'm all for this, more infrastructure spending is so desperately needed. But come on, a double decked bridge, in that location? Did anyone see the three authorities that would be responsible for delivering this trying to build a footbridge for ten years?!

The liveable, inclusive, prosperous city isn’t a final destination, but a never-ending journey that continually seeks opportunities for improvement. That mindset—of continuous refinement rather than complacency—is what distinguishes great cities from good ones. Westeringsevest, Delft: 2015 vs 2026.

Now that the bridge is open, we need to start making Trent Basin a destination, rather than the end of the line or simply a pass through spot. A few of us residents have been working on a design for a pontoon in the basin. This was actually part of the original plans, but was dumped.
