I'm reminded of that one training session when we introduced touch screen phones which didn't use styluses... One lady couldn't get the touch screen to work... We eventually worked out this was down to the many layers of fake tan blocking the conductivity 🫠

I see the new DLR trains are to resume testing! Five years of going to London for the Formula E with disruption to the DLR every year except the first to test these... Now that's moved on from the ExCeL they are still testing 😬

As part of this testing, you may see some of these trains operating on your route. Although they may appear on platform information screens as services to Beckton or Stratford International, they will be out of service and are not available for customer use.

Please do not attempt to board these trains, even if they stop at your platform.One of the new DLR trains on test in July 2023 - the 2nd of 5 times I was in London for the Formula E races.  IIRC I was walking back to the hotel at this point as no passenger services were running on the DLR.

I see the 6 week road closure to improve walking and cycling provision between the between the new bridge and town centre (cutting the buses off for the duration) has done a thoroughly excellent job... Oh wait, they've not bothered to replace the pelican crossings with Toucans 🤔

Nottingham - our centre is so polluted we'll have to introduce a ULEZ. Mandates low emissions taxis, upgrades their* buses to CNG & Euro VI, replaces city service vehicles with EV **. Result: no ULEZ needed. National Highways - let's ban those form of transport which don't pollute.
