Metropoli — Brioche — Angeles 1 trillion tiny angels passing parcels betwixt their hands, as far as the eye could see more free, i’m trying to become more free, [..]1 trillion tiny angels tapping hymnals into the palm of your hand, a symphony of synapses.

TT Brioche is a loosed angel of the local network of Angeles- a human automata with a triple lobed brain which allows her to act as a node and custodian of terabytes of data at a time. Seconded to Blessing Hafall of the 2nd Branch Kyose Trade Dynasty.

Blessing had requested her specifically for a projected aptitude for exorcisms, a far more mundane activity in 10m as the people of the Metropoli are so smothered with their world of forms.

immediately after reading that passage i knew what had to be done— i knew it. It came to me by rite of divine ordination and it was set. I have a lot of intense opinions about early christian polemics but that is neither here nor there, and I think well encompassed in this painting… that being said I love it sooo bad, im going to try to do more edging stuff, become artistically liberated and all that,,, ive been really in particular focusing on volumetrics and surface geometry 🧠 over the last year and im feeling like its starting to show,, i’d feel comfortable calling myself journeym’n level now, i can feel that coveted ability to just force something to be good within my grasp, i can feel the literacy growing inside me like a great big pearl, im brainpearl preggers i am, everybody says im glowing..! I was nervous to totally let the freak out but this entire batch ( and the next one) is total freaknology, i cant hide it from you guys anymore ToT i hope u can accept my sillies touching my slutties, i just… i cant make another account i’ll get posters madness— you wouldnt want me to get posters madness would you?? 🥺??

anyway the concept of divine denial as meted out by a highly intelligent women of a religiously (ontologically) literate background is like… like… im thinking about that every day lol, i was talking about it a few weeks ago but as a neognostic i just dont think i could swing it with someone who wasnt able to freak it metaphysically on me and at me… i crave to see intricate interaction with the world in others, it lights my heart up incomparably to literally anything else, INCLUDING the thickness,, that was a big impetus behind this one, i honestly find it offensive what these patriarch clowns were allowed to profess against human creativity, indulgence, and insight.. inflicting on us the sinfulness of dialectics, the sinfulness of the flesh, the exclusivity of the fundamental ontologies.. it makes me SICK so i drew out my feelings like so

Im absolutely goosing 🪿 it with the perspectives you’ll see s’more of that with the next batch— ive been looking at some of my old art in this post frenzy ive been in and like, my style has changed more in the last year than the last 5, its kwazy, and im not entirelyyy sure why it’s happened.. maybe my finally nailing down some surface geometry, the ever thickening lines, and my new volumetrics-forward sketch process are having oversized effects— maybe my cerebellum finally finished developing! oh and ive been doing this hot new thing called “looking realllly reallly hard at stuff i like when i see them”……in any event ive really been trying to nail down a formula for my freakonomics and im nearing it i can feel it on the wind,, you know what occurs to me now is it might be that in the last two years ive begun both painting properly and reading again (22 books in the last year+1/2!!!!), which may have returned more lucidity to my inner eye than i had before, thats definitely part of it anyhow,,,

oh and also she’s not red white and blue because of america she just likes those colors 🐶, they’re good colors! maybe she’s cuban,, this painting was actually really fast for what it is, maybe 10 hrs? ive been secretly sitting on it for like a month and a half because im devious and evil and i wanted to post all my arts at once because im evil, i hope u all wont flay and/or boil me i have schemes scheduled to come to fruition within the fortnight !!

While Sanguine are not typically welcome anywhere outside of the Machinean System, this is a flimsy generalization. In fact, they often chill way the fuck out when emancipated from the eusocial Spirarchical genecult societies of Machinea and her moons— being massively employable besides due to the plasticity and strength of their flesh. WOOF guys, when i tell you my inner eye has been positively freaking it recently,,,, ive, i think, really consolidated a pretty good internal model of the human body and its foreshortened states, there is actually relatively little structural change from the initial sketches. as for tha vibes ,whereas my “coin disk eyes” painting was done i felt from the artist juices i collected from watching asmr, this one feels very much like it was enabled to be so good by my watching joi lolololol, im also feeling much more confident i can make my faces feel cutesy and unctuous like how i want- a more robust proportional perception is developing in me— im also, possibly, more of a pervert than ive ever been, so enjoy these mean women x3

Metropoli — Holoform — Contracts

A communal world built from 60 LY of memetically unified societies, the Metropolis is a dense ecology of human and posthuman minds. Containing everything from tulpa memory constructs, to standalone complexes, to parasitic RAM succubi.

It is not a safe place to be plugged into. Cognitohazards which incorporate the base logic of the organic mind and memory to infect and thrall the unwary make it unsafe even for nonborged eyes.

However, once one has been fortified with the Pandora’s Vine spinal implant, vulnerabilities can be minimized inside and outside of the hololith. Disciplines such as exorcism and remote viewing can become trivial. Contracts can be inscribed mutually into the “permissions” of both parties, at threat of severance. A whole new world of drugs will open itself up. The Metropolis’ deep, recursive sea of cultures— many having no counterpart in the material at all— may become the wellspring of perpetual intrigue that it is.

And anyway, most holoform net ghosts make great conversation partners.

The shop was drenched in pale honeyed light. It almost felt like the lumens stuck to your body- on the promenade. She could feel the symbiotic synth cells swimming in her eyes to shield them from the unnatural light- though they were unnecessary, hers were already fully borged. But the courtesy was extended to everyone here, supposedly.

None of this had come as a surprise. She had been here only once as a baby but the stories and voxcasts got around. The o12th was for shock and awe. It was charming and gauche in equal measure, traits that were ultimately becoming of a city that was the transportation capital of the Belts.

A glass woman with hair made of gently simmering candle wicks fluttered over polished vinyl floors and to the counter. “Sorry loves,” she began with a clavichord voice, “not much of a selection left today..”

Blucoats — Club Matilda — Orbits of the Inner 3rd

Club Matilda is a goth club strung through the remains of the corpse of a desiccated battlefreighter left at the edges of the Belts. The Club itself is the size of a small town in an even larger vessel and inside a hundred hallways splinter off from the 3 central corridors, basslines pounding out into the surrounding space, making the entire structure quake. Inside the air flows with phosphorescent bacteria which cover the ceilings in dim neon fog, glowing against peculiar soft black walls. People from all around the Nebula wash up here, and nobody owns it, not really. Broken down automata clean up after the eternal rager, occasionally catching on fire- to the glee of onlookers. The less noteworthy of the Decimator Pilots and their enginerats make haunts here, and in the years when the Hyperliminal Maze is active Matilda becomes a system-wide hotspot- its orbit closest to the 3rd Deadworld of the Inner Belt. Spectators hauling out to watchparties to observe the weeks-long, once-in-a-decade event between the Inner 3rd and Outer 6th wherein the challenging Intercessor runs the fulldive maze designed by their opponent. The Mazes are furnished with full synthetic societies within, and any who enter are immediately struck with procedurally generated amnesia- forgetting old memories and remembering new ones. The home team is allowed to construct the Maze and the challengers are allowed to plant 5 relevant objects inside. Whoever breaks out fastest wins.
