The slogans are antisemitic. The protests are antisemitic. The boycotts are antisemitic. The journalists are antisemitic. The law is antisemitic. The doctors are antisemitic. Maybe a lot of people need to stop chasing the secret sauce to appease people who will not be appeased?

Zionism is racism was not written by self righteous, white, lefties It was written by Palestinians in consultation with Palestinian and Jewish groups, Party officials, solicitors and many other over more than a year. I think Palestinian voices should be part of the debate youtu.be/6IQoRYEB-MA?...

I mean yeah, the racist state deploys violence to enforce support for Zionism and this makes people paying attention to this stuff connect some dots, tis true.

God I'm so tired of this shit. No-one describes state support for an apartheid state committing genocide as "student politics". Even the bizarre state policing of Jewish identity, where anti- and non-Zionist Jews are delegitimised, isn't seen as odd. It's all unremarkable cos it's just what happens.

I find this line absolutely hilarious because the people recognised as the founders of actually existing Zionism are by and large a bunch of unabashed racists who were open about it being colonisation (and several of them had extremely dodgy views about Jews as well)

Person after person keeps popping up to tell me that some Zionists have nice thoughts in their head then when I try and pin them down on why these nice thoughts should be prioritised over actual Zionism and Palestinian lives, they block me. Pretty incredible stuff.

I just saw Femi explaining his opposition to the motion and "while in practice Zionism is certainly racist, in theory it's not" is precisely the kind of unserious position people like to accuse the Greens of having.

This thread is a very long-winded restatement of "a majority of Jewish people are Zionists". To which the response would be "ok, so if we accept that...so what?" Since when did "a majority of a particular ethnicity or religion believe something" constitute an argument that that thing is correct?

Seeing a lot of left people complaining about the anti-Zionism motion in terms of it being poor strategy, or the odd "too many people do use anti-Zionism to complain about Jews", but no-one actually saying the motion is wrong.

Stage one of the Islamist assault on the Green Party is now complete. Let's see how long Polanski lasts before they come for the leadership. In this incredibly poor Guardian profile of Sagal Abdi-Wali she gives the need for "national-level policy and national advocacy" as her reason for wanting to be an MP. She isn't then asked to specify what kind of national policy she means, and rules out support for rent controls

JK Rowling through her TERF organization, Beira's Place have sent Amnesty International a demand letter seeking a full retraction of their report, a public apology, and a bar to future criticism of gender critical groups as anti rights orgs. If they don't comply, they'll commence legal action.
The first page of a formal, typed legal letter dated 14 July 2026. It is addressed to the leadership of Amnesty International UK: Helen Horton (Chair, Amnesty International UK Section), Sandy Ruthven (Chair, Amnesty International UK Charitable Trust), and Kerry Moscogiuri (Chief Executive). The contact information and phone numbers in the top-right corner are redacted with a large black block, and a footer at the bottom is also blacked out.
The subject line reads: "BEIRA’S PLACE | AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL UK PUBLICATION DATED 8 JULY 2026".
The body text states that the sender acts on behalf of Beira’s Place, a sexual violence support service for women in Edinburgh and the Lothians. It asserts the legal right under the Equality Act 2010 to provide single-sex services and references the Supreme Court ruling in For Women Scotland v Scottish Ministers to define "woman" by biological sex. The letter strongly objects to page 20 of a newly published Amnesty report titled "A growing threat; the anti-rights movement in the UK", which allegedly categorizes Beira's Place as an "anti-rights organization." The letter calls this categorization "grossly offensive and entirely without foundation."The second page of the formal legal letter, maintaining the same clean, typed layout with a heavy black redaction block covering the footer at the bottom.
Under the heading "Defamation and Malicious Publications (Scotland) Act 2021", the text argues that labeling Beira's Place as "anti-rights" is defamatory and legally actionable. It claims the report has caused severe damage, including threatening correspondence and a 600% spike in hostile website traffic. The text notes that Beira's Place, with the support of its founder J.K. Rowling, will not allow its reputation to be tarnished.
Under the heading "Remedies", the letter lists legal demands to avoid litigation, including:
A permanent withdrawal of the Amnesty report and its methodology.
A public letter of apology on the homepage of Amnesty’s website, apologizing to Beira's Place, its staff, and service users, as well as acknowledging the protected belief that sex is real and immutable. The final page of the typed legal letter, featuring a large black redaction box covering the signature block in the middle and another covering the footer at the bottom.
The page contains the conclusion of the legal demands, including a third remedy requiring Amnesty to commission an external investigation into how the report was published.
The letter warns that if Amnesty does not agree to these terms, counsel will be instructed to prepare for court action. It concludes with a note that J.K. Rowling, as founder of Beira's Place, will make a formal complaint to the Charity Commission or other appropriate regulator and supports other listed gender-critical organizations taking their own legal actions. It signs off with "Yours faithfully" before the blacked-out signature block.

Not a single mention of the lying that got Starmer the leadership and simply didn't stop afterwards, or the obsessive factionalism that drove it. He had nothing else because that was the sole point of him but people like Freedland think that was good in and of itself.

If you think someone is trans, you can ask, however be sure to ask in a say that wouldn't put them at a disadvantage or seem hostile or that is harassment. If they deny it, you can ask them to prove it, however there aren't any documents that would work to prove it. Hope this clarifies things.
