The 28 floor hotel I stayed at last weekend only had 2 working elevators (out of 5). We were on the 5th floor, waited 20 minutes, had 4 elevators that were completely full stop at our floor. We finally took the elevator up just so we could get on.

I avoid taking escalators/moving walkways bc I’m convinced I’ll get stuck halfway on. If I can’t avoid them,I have to time my steps very carefully/hop onto the escalator or moving walkway and then do the same to get off. To be fair, as a child, I did get stuck at the bottom of an escalator.

My grandma was a RN. She retired twice. First at 65 but said she could help out as long as her license was valid. By the time it expired, she was practically working full time. That was about 30 years ago. Here she is yesterday, watering her yard (at 99 yrs old).
