I have a 3d printed Clow Reed wand and it will *definitely* break if I hit it the wrong way. Probably even will collapse if I hold it wrong.

alice! @nyam.my · 21/08/2025

Poor wand. I'm shocked it didn't break tbh...

I've noticed that sometimes the Express buses have weird routings some days. The ST Express route that used to go to Lake Union (now the 578 I think?) sometimes used a different route for no seeming reason.

how the hell the Secret Service or DoD allowed this is another question in itself. Isn't Air Force One also supposed to have a SCIF??? This is a national security nightmare!

the closest they're getting to engaging with Nanahira is a restraining order.

Apple updated it same-day!

It’s a good reminder that most transit users are casual users, not hyperfixated transit nerds like you see on Bluesky.

Full 2 Line is delayed yet again (to early 2026)

The remainder of East Link, connecting the Eastside to the 1 Line in Seattle, is currently trending toward an early 2026 opening.

not being in Washington, probably. :3

Riding the second train of the 2 Line from Redmond, ever!

A 2 Line train to South Bellevue. It's a 3-car train!

done! still have to reply back to the representatives that did reach back out to me... maybe even propose making the 8 RapidRide.

if you're gonna make a parking garage make some money off of the commuters using it, smh. and use that money to speed up adding more transit!!

K.H.I. @sheridesabike.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

their target audience is commuting techbros who live in the suburbs once the 2 Line connects to Seattle. because they already do this with Lynnwood stations. shitty land use, agreed, and they massively undercharge for parking, but this will likely be filled up a year from now.

Hello Seattle, and especially if you live off the 8, ride it or want to ride it for any reason, please take 2 minutes to sign this NEW action letter. Been turnover at city & county councils so we want to make sure to keep this top of mind and a priority for action.

You also cannot opt out if you have Global Entry as well, iirc. Since it'll defeat the point of the TTP.

alice! @nyam.my · 08/05/2025

Your face is entered into facial recognition databases when you get a state ID, which is not something you can really avoid doing. And it's also stored on your passport digitally!

probably some senior developer who cares more about other metrics than security, so it gets WONTFIX'ed.

I think they replaced the audio file saying the name of the intersection, so standard functionality would still exist...
