my only thing with that is that for a horror game, even as an accessibility option, it would have to be real subtle so as to not break the atmosphere. if it was as clear and readable as the way fortnite does it i probably wouldn't use it for something like silent hill

an issue i had with rerequiem, now with silent hill f is that these are both games with excellent sound design that seem to be committed to using binaural audio to have you locate monsters but, playing in mono cause i'm deaf in my right ear, everything sounds loud as fuck and on top of me
