Serendipity. This weekend I attended a Yoshitaka Amano exhibition in Italy, and had no idea it would be the only weekend where he would be there. Still flabbergasted that I got to meet one of my favorite artists and actually have a signed art piece ready to frame once I settle down somewhere!

This kind of solidifies what SE should have been doing for a while already. Building a proficient PC development team and simultaneously releasing their games everywhere. To justify the budget of these games, publishers need every single sale they can get.

After the Switch 2 announcement I'm here looking at people go: "no way this is successful when people now have steam deck, etc." How is this a take? People buy Nintendo hardware for the 1st party games. There's a significant share of the Switch audience that couldn't care less about handheld PCs.

It's a sad reflection of the game dev community when the reaction to Amir getting an award at TGA is to knock the man down and misrepresent and minimize all the good he's actually done, just because he works for Tencent. If you want Future Class to return, then lobby for it, don't knock others down.
