VR has failed for a decade+ yet it won't die. Doubt Valve will reanimate the genre this attempt. This wasn't hard to foresee. 3D TV - unlike VR easily walk-up demo-able at the local Worst Buy - failed largely because the public rejected immensely less-obtrusive active-shutter glasses.
