Truth be told, I care less about physical media than I care about ownership and access. Digital-only would be acceptable to me as long as there’s a contract (or better yet, digital ownership legislation) that guarantees my ability to download in perpetuity and, given a server shutdown, DRM removed.🧵

We have made some progress getting @iroh.computer to work on esp32. Iroh 1.0 compiles on xtensa esp32 and works on the esp32-s3 out of the box. We still need a tiny dependency reduction patch for the bare esp32, but nothing major. github.com/n0-computer/...

Colorado statewide snowpack has fully melted off, per latest NWCC data. That marks the earliest snowpack melt since 2018, and the 5th-earliest on record (since 1987). It’s also about two weeks earlier than average. This also fully opens the door for summer fire season. #COwx

Today I was detained by Smyrna Police for being interviewed across the street from Flock Safety's drone and camera manufacturing facility. The giant warehouse and office is branded as "DPR Construction" online and even has DPR logos, I suppose because Flock employee privacy is super important.
