I’ve definitely gotten better. Not sure if the estrogen makes my brain feel better or its just some placebo, but there are definitely some changes happening; not only towards my body but my overall outlook. I feel like everything will be okay, and I will live to see the girl I longed to be

Just beat DooM³. I kinda like it! I can see why it isn't most people's cup of tea, but I found plenty to like here; wonky shotgun RNG and all. Not the best "Doom game", but still a great game in its own rights, and deserves its cult following. I'd say give it a shot. 8/10.

Just saw Coyote vs. Acme. Looney Tunes as a whole could end right this second and I wouldn't even complain. It really felt like a series finale of the entire thing. So much love and care was put into it, and it shows. I just wish my late dad was here to see it. Fuck you, Zaslav. 8/10.

Physics are locked at 60FPS. Severe artifacting occurs on any resolution higher than 800x600. The Windows update KB5121003 breaks AI pathfinding. Instant CTD if you have any USB device plugged in. Modern re-release inexplicably $59.99 (Steam only) and only fixes the resolution glitch.

Just beat 007: First Light. Although the story wasn't anything special (and was predictable to a fault), it was still an amazing game to my eyes. Met and exceeded all of my expectations, and can't wait to see what iOi does with this. All I ask is a better story, but it was still great. 8.75/10.

In a perfect world, MachineGames would get a nice, fat cut of the paycheck while MSFT would cozy it up with their Windows revenue, but we all know this isn't the case. As much as it breaks my heart, I would find it more easily digestible if I got a key for it on G2A or something instead of Steam.

I now consider it unjustifiable to spend any money on video games developed by major companies. "Supporting the devs" means supporting the publishers as well at this point. Every dollar I spend on a hypothetical Wolfenstein 3 is another dollar that goes into the pockets of MSFT.

Your favorite modern game has its roots in an older one, and despite the fears perpetuated by view-seeking YouTubers, games released in the 20th century are not “unplayable” because there might be some slowdown or you aren’t used to the controls of a less-defined era — seek out those roots, explore them, learn about the origins of a genre or a series or the art form itself by doing so. Are Nintendo 64 games aging like milk, or are you playing them in the wrong context, with the wrong controller, and coming away with the wrong impression because of it? Was the Sega Saturn a failed system because of a lack of games, or because it featured stunning 32-bit 2D art at the exact wrong time in history, with the vast majority of its library — 775 of 1,028 games — releasing exclusively in Japan rather than worldwide? It might not have the quantity of the PlayStation, which sold over 10 times as many consoles as the Saturn managed and therefore kept getting the lion’s share of new releases and development attention, but what’s there is a joy.

I beat Wolfenstein: The New Order. 9/10. One of the best fucking games I've ever played. Worldbuilding is prime. Soundtrack is prime. Gameplay is prime. Characters are prime. I love this game so fucking much. Genuinely in my top 5 alongside RtCW, stands toe-to-toe with it. Play it. NOW.

Wolfenstein: The New Order was developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks in the year 2014. The box art here depicts a Nazi soldier in the middle (two silhouettes next to him) brandishing a so-called "Assault Rifle 1960" (an amalgam of the Sturmgewehr 44 and the Heckler & Koch G3), with the title displayed in the middle; the word "WOLFENSTEIN" is in an angular and aggressive font similar to one used in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and the words "THE NEW ORDER" is in Futura.

DOOM is an absolute classic. Call it "aged" all you want, it's FPS goodness distilled to its purest essence, and I love it to bits. Don't care much for DOOM II, but the mods more than make up for it. Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
