Yeah, first entry will look better than a line cutting into the middle of it all. And you've already solved the single part UI placement. No point doing the aggregate case. If all parts are highlighted (which I expect they are), it should be intuitive enough. Looks great.

Booted up my laptop today.Tried to go into Settings on Win11 to re-enable my wifi adapter. Had it off for some cable test using the ethernet adapter yesterday. Only to be met with an infinite loading loop on freakin' Settings, of all things. Fortunately, MS hasn't gotten rid of the old Control Panel

And not only did he win that competition with a mostly stolen idea, he also sold it for money (a few thousand euro). Regardless of the court, he did steal. He made money off of an image (and some existing person's face) that he made almost no alterations for.

He did steal a lot of other people's ideas with minor changes and also used this photo, to paint something, he not only submitted into an art competition, which as far as I remember, his mother was on the board of. She was also an active politician/minister at the time (economy/energy I think).

Btw I know I've mentioned kdramas a lot, but I've ranted plenty on western productions too. I recall The Madness was maddening, Cross, Night Agent, Mr.Mercedes at times and even Goliath (s2 was abysmal and barely had court proceedings for a lawyer show).

Knowing me, I'd probably enjoy the heck out of it and still be bummed they had to mess it up the first 6 eps so much to get that good ep afterwards. And there's a lot of people who don't have patience or obsess over finishing everything like me and 6 eps are a hell of a lot of chances to get dropped

I honestly think it's one or both of two things. 1) they don't care to make a solid story because given how long they've been doing it it pays. 2) they fundamentally stick to a format with a single big climax at the end, which imposes loss on good guys for 11-15 eps. At least for kdramas that is.

And 2) director shows the viewer something important. But protag or other characters don't notice, or don't use that info at all until it's too late, so showing the viewer the important thing becomes pointless and any immersion breaks.

Many of the bad ones are written with a timeline in mind and specific checkpoints, which they handle doing 2 things that annoy me greatly. 1) sacrifice their characters. Introduce them as intelligent, cool etc, dumb them down a lot for 12 eps so villains prevail until the grand climax at the end.

Deja vu...I've had this kind of rant before. You as a viewer feel far smarter than the one in the show and it just breaks any kind of immersion, because they don't do the logical thing. Bad writing. I've seen this a lot in kdramas.

I too go on hour long (sometimes 1.5h) walks. On average 2-3 walks per interview. I'm ok with that. Sometimes I rewind and listen again. Be it stories or tech talk, always interesting. And seeing as I'm trying to fulfill multiple challenges on Strava, need the extra content.
