I thought of a use case for myself for those recording glasses: Getting video of my cat looking SO happy when I pet him and rub his ears. I can't take a snapshot when it lasts 1 second and I'm using both hands for the cat! (I will not be buying those recording glasses!)

I once had a Guest Cat who liked to sit on reading materials. I deployed a decoy magazine so she'd sit on that and I could still read!

It takes effort to watch TV because so many things in this house call out to me to say, "Finish me, first!" Also, I am always surprised when I enjoy television. I don't know what I expect, but it isn't "entertainment". (I'm weirdly anhedonic.)

I have, as always, a lot of stuff I feel I *ought* to be doing, but I think I'll do something else. I did go out this afternoon and sit on a flat rock in the sun for a few minutes. But then I went back indoors. (It's dark out now.) I think I'll try to watch TV and NOT insist on productivity.

I am tired. This is almost always true. (Although I did just get 2 vaccines yesterday!) I am planning a walk outside, despite this and despite currently wearing the wrong shoes for a long walk. Because I don't want to complicate myself into not doing it! (They won't injure my feet, don't worry.)

Yes, exactly. But the author showed pictures and talked about how she developed the recipe, so I assume she means SOMETHING by "full-fat oat milk"! I just wonder what the "fat" is!

We've recruited someone he used to know to go around and knock on his door ... except that nobody knows his current address! It's his sister's old house (she left it to him) in the Bronx. This doesn't help much. He has (or had) a girlfriend, and we know her FIRST name, but not her contact info.

It was $330 to go 2 hours ago but it's $10/hour late fee so it's ~$350 TO GO RN URGENT WEEKLY ROOM RN. If not paid by this afternoon, w/ the late fees, he's out. Disabled. Chronically ill. Currently sick. 35 ppl $10 ea RN keeps him safely housed. Pls RS/QS. Pls do what you can. #HelpFolksLive2026

Someone I don't know well but really enjoy the company of is dying, or so he says (I don't know what his diagnosis is, if he has one.) He says his body is giving out. He's only 60. Lot of this going around, and I'm upset about it. I can't do much from here (he's in NYC). And I'm low on cash.
