My #coffeewithhunter today was from Copper Kettle Coffee Company in the Bellevue Botanic Gardens. Got a Fire Horse Latte: fire horse syrup (cayenne, gochugaru pepper and cocoa), espresso, milk, and a garnish of Sichuan green peppercorns. Fantastic coffee and the gardens are beautiful (and free!)

Despite it giving money to Google, running GrapheneOS on Google Pixel hardware is a great experience. Zero "AI" presence. No Google presence by default but you can install it sandboxed. Very easy install.

No one seems to have recommended the Lady Astronaut series by @maryrobinettekowal.com but that seems really obvious for space sci-fi. Significantly better than the Weir stuff, IMO. Encounter with Tiber is a bit old now but a great science first story (like Weir) with buzz Aldrin as a co author.
