Trying for a second time to get through this Blue Beetle movie. I'm about halfway through. It's just so CW. So melodramatic. The family is annoying in a way that's supposed to be endearing, but they're just annoying. The romance feels forced. I don't know if I can make it through the rest.

Starting over fresh in GB Studio 4, I've got the basics working. The shield finally works the way I wanted back in the day. Holding Down raises the shield indefinitely. (ignore link getting hurt by the ghost of octorok) Swimming is still janky, but it won't be used much.

Ok, so this went from me putting out an archive of assets to me just working on the game again. The more I looked at things, and the more I pieced together my memories of what it was I wanted to do, the more I just wanted to do it. So that's what I'm doing.

I'm putting together a little archive of my Zelda 2 stuff. It won't have the project files, but it will have backgrounds and sprites, along with notes and personal musings. Someone might find it useful. Or maybe amusing. I'm still going through old files, so it'll probably be a few days.

Debating which of these I prefer. Ultimately, I'll go with the top example because that's how I'm already doing things. But the bottom example might be more aesthetically pleasing.
